What is Theology?  What are the different branches of Theology and how does one go about the study of each branch?  How do we define “theology” and who makes that definition? At this point the student, beginning his or her seminary studies, might well be asking, “Isn’t theology just the study of God; a way to theorize about ‘supreme beings’?”  Absolutely not.  It is only through an introduction to theology that a student can find the doorways opening to the study of all other branches and divisions of religions and faiths that must be explored for a full understanding of theology.  Theology is a science with scientific methods and divisions.
