In the U.S.A, industry spends around half a billion dollars on Employment Assistance Programmes with a return of around one and a half billion dollars. In the U.K. around thirty million working days are lost every year.  The cost, excluding psychosomatic complaints and uncertified absence, equals four billion pounds a year. All together the cost is probably closer to seven billion pounds. (1994 figures) In England, the consultation rates for mental disorders were three hundred per one thousand patients, exceeded only by coughs, colds and bronchitis. This course is designed to teach you how to cope with stress.
