
The Interfaith Seminary offers the following
degrees in Divinity:
D.D. Doctor of Divinity
**Please note: The IFS no longer grants Bachelor degrees.
Degree Description:
Divinity is the study of the Creator (God/Goddess),
theology, and ritual. The Divinity degree is designed to offer
training for ministry as a pastor.
This is an interfaith degree, as the IFS does not grant denominational
degrees in Divinity. But, coursework for the degree can be designed
in accordance with the students religious beliefs and in areas
in which the student and advisor feel needs more training. This
is done jointly between the student and assigned Academic Advisor.
This is a training course for ministry work only.
Graduation does not include ordination as an interfaith minister.
But, ordination can be obtained from the Church of Seven Planes,
the parent organization of the IFS. See the Ordination link to

Coursework:
Coursework for this degree is organized between
the student and the Academic Advisor and personalized to the student's
current/future ministry work and personal belief system/spirituality.

Degree Requirements for the D.D. is as follows:
Prerequisites: None
1. D.D. candidate must write and then defend a dissertation
on a subject pertaining to divinity and/or theological studies.
2. Tuition paid in full and all coursework must
be completed and graded before diploma is awarded.
