The Interfaith Seminary offers the following degrees in Christian Eschatology:

Th.D. Doctor of Theology in Christian Eschatology

**Please note: Because of the complexity of this course of study and the need for background knowledge in Christian theology, only a doctorate level degree is offered in Christian Eschatology at this time.

Degree Description:

Christian Eschatology is the study of End Times Theology, death and the afterlife from a Christian perspective and Biblical prophecy concerning the Apocalypse and Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Eschatology seeks to discover a deeper understanding of these apparent mysteries, while using that knowledge to create a stronger Christian Ministry.

This degree does not lead to ordination and ministry credentials but instead allows one to use the title of Eschatologist. Ordination can be received through the Church of Seven Planes through the link on the left.

The IFS believes that Eschatology is only one aspect of the Christian experience and should not be the basis of a ministry, as has been seen in groups such as the deceased Millerites (the forefathers of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church), but simply another thing to assist in building a better and more productive Christian life.

The IFS does not support End Times/Apocalyptical groups that encourage criminal or dangerous activity, in any form, as a way to bring about the Apocalypse. Anyone discovered pursuing this degree with such a purpose in mind will be immedietly expelled from the IFS.

Doctor of Theology

Degree Requirements for the Th.D. is as follows:

Prerequisites: Master's Degree in Religion, Theology, Ministry or another related area from an approved educational institution or proof of related life/work experience.

1. All assigned coursework as agreed upon by the student and their Academic Advisor. This program does not require a thesis, but is instead based on short essays.

2. Tuition paid in full and all coursework must be completed and graded before diploma is awarded.
