The Interfaith Seminary offers
the following degrees in Ministry:
M.Min. Master of Ministry
D.Min. Doctor of Ministry
Degree Description:
The Ministry degree program assists students in gaining an excellent
knowledge in Ministry from an interfaith perspective, preparing
the student for work as an interfaith minister. The IFS does not
grant denominational degrees in Ministry.
The interfaith minister is one who sees the commonalities that all
religions and faiths share and then focuses upon those similarities
instead of the differences. As the world becomes more of a global
community the need for qualified interfaith ministers is going to
increase greatly.
This is a training course for ministry work only. Graduation does
not include ordination as an interfaith minister. But, ordination
can be obtained from the Church of Seven Planes, the parent organization
of the IFS. See the Ordination link to the left for ordination information.
