
The Interfaith Seminary offers the following
degrees in Women's Spiritual Studies:
M.A. Master of Arts in Women's Spiritual Studies
Ph.D. Doctor of Philosophy in Women's Spiritual Studies
Degree Description:
This interfaith degree examines the history, trends,
ideologies and problems related to the spiritual experience of
women. This degree draws on a wide range of writers, encompassing
many perspectives and cultural ideas both old and contemporary
and provides a good foundation for those intending to work in
women's ministry.
Master of Arts
Degree Requirements for the M.A. is as follows:
Prerequisites: Bachelor's Degree from an approved
educational institution or proof of related life/work experience.
1. All assigned coursework as agreed upon by the
student and their Academic Advisor.
2. M.A. candidate must write and then defend a Master`s
Thesis on a subject pertaining to Women's Spiritual Studies.
3. Tuition paid in full and all coursework must
be completed and graded before diploma is awarded.
Total Courses: 7 + Thesis
Total Required Hours:30

Text of student`s choosing as related to Women's
Spiritual Studies and approved by the Academic Advisor
Thesis (6 credit hours)

Doctor of Philosophy
Degree Requirements for the Ph.D. is as
follows:

dissertation on a subject pertaining to Women's Spiritual Studies.
